Description:
If you are planning to visit Costa Rica and see wildlife in a half day trip from your hotel destination, Palo Verde National Park is the right place to go. Driving through the local town of Filadelfia between large sugar cane field and cantaloupe plantation we will get arrive to the Tempisque River, one of the principal river at the Guanacaste´s province and considered a bridge-land of a large variety of species of bird, reptiles and mammals. Our almost 2 hours slow moving along the river, show us more than one interesting stop as see nocturnal and aquatic birds, herons, egrets, two species of monkeys, iguanas, lizards and crocodiles. This tour is recommended for everybody. And that’s not all, I will include lunch; The Authentic Costa Rican Meals is called “Casado” once of the most popular plates in our culture. On the way back to the hotel we´ll give you the option to stop in Coco Beach the closer town where you can buy souvenir or coffee in the local markets. |
